Consideration vs Generalisation
Commenting events can be made in different ways, but the possibilities of talking in a generative way and so promoting the dialogic identity are limited. Indeed, the dialogic repertoires in which comments had been classified are 4: 3 of maintenance and 1 generative. The three maintenance repertoires have and high maintenance power because their dialogic weight is of -0.5. On the other side, also the only generative repertoire has high generativity, the highest after the repertoire of description, indeed its dialogic weight is of + 0.30. This difference points out the importance of choosing words carefully, looking at the properties of the used expressions. In the following paragraph will be exposed two of the four ways of talking: the generalization, one of the maintenance repertoires and the consideration, the only generative repertoire.
USEFUL QUESTIONS TO DISTINGUISH BETWEEN CONSIDERATION AND GENERALIZATION
- Is this analysis of the object done basing on scientific dissertations (consideration) or beliefs that someone could disagree on (generalization)?
- Is this affirmation directly responding to the question (consideration) or talking about the subject but not responding (generalization)?
- Is this affirmation analyzing accurately the subject (consideration) or considering the subject as part of a bigger class created by personal references (generalization)?

Considerazione vs Generalizzazione
Commentare gli eventi può essere fatto in modi diversi, ma le possibilità di parlare in modo generativo e quindi di promuovere l'identità dialogica sono limitate. Infatti, i repertori discorsivi in cui sono stati classificati i commenti sono 4: 3 di mantenimento e 1 generativo. I tre repertori di mantenimento hanno un alto potere di mantenimento perché il loro peso dialogico è di -0,5. D'altra parte, anche l'unico repertorio generativo ha un'alta generatività, la più alta dopo il repertorio della descrizione, infatti il suo peso dialogico è di + 0,30. Questa differenza evidenzia l'importanza di scegliere le parole con attenzione, osservando le proprietà delle espressioni utilizzate. Nel paragrafo seguente saranno esposti due dei quattro modi di parlare: la generalizzazione, uno dei repertori di mantenimento e la considerazione, l'unico repertorio generativo.
